What WafiWallet is, who it serves, and what each phase ships.
Vision
A secure, simple, global self-custody wallet: Your Crypto. Your Keys. Your Freedom.
Non-negotiables
- Keys and recovery phrases never leave the device in plaintext.
- Backend can never receive, store, reconstruct or use keys.
- All signing is local.
- No copy claims absolute safety.
Personas
- First-time crypto user who needs guidance and plain language.
- Multi-chain power user managing several wallets.
- dApp user who needs clear signing requests.
Phase 1 (MVP)
- Create/import wallet (12/18/24 words, private key, watch-only)
- PIN + biometrics, multi-wallet
- ETH, BNB, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base, Bitcoin, Solana, TRON
- Balances, portfolio, send, receive, history, QR scanner, custom tokens, network management
Phases 2–5
- 2: Swap, buy/sell, WalletConnect, Discover, NFTs, push, WafiShield, simulation
- 3: Cross-chain, bridge, staking, approval manager, analytics, address book, price alerts
- 4: Browser extension with EVM provider and hardware wallet architecture
- 5: ERC-4337 smart accounts, passkeys, gas sponsorship, session keys, social recovery
Success metrics
- Zero key-exposure incidents
- Send success rate > 99% excluding user cancel
- Wallet open < 1.5 s on mid-range devices
- Recovery-phrase backup completion > 80%
Items marked NATIVE must be implemented as audited native code (Swift, Kotlin, Rust or C++), not in the web app.
